Life in Zambia has been taking an unusual turn ever since the Ventriglia family made a comeback with a view to spread corruption. From 2012 to March 2015, the Portland Cement Factory witnessed a remarkable growth in terms of revenue as well as market reputation under Rajan Mahtani. However, the arrival of the Italian Mafias has disrupted the balance and resulted in widespread devastation of the factory.
Snatching the factory from the hands of Finsbury Investment was not enough for them. They also wanted the judicial system of Zambia to form an alliance with them and overthrow the legitimate owners of the Portland Cement Zambia, Dr. Rajan Mahtani. Fortunately, the judicial system of Zambia comes with a tag of ‘NOT FOR SALE’ and hence, the criminals were unable to accomplish their mission. An astonishing thing which was executed in 2015 was tampering the records of PACRA. A lawyer of the Ventriglias took the initiative of visiting the Kitwe office of PACRA and forced a junior officer to make changes within the records of PACRA without having obtained a prior approval from the High Court. A serious crime was executed, but with the power of money and support from similar corrupt people, the Ventriglia family and its lawyer were not pulled into strict legal action.
Lately in 2015, the news of Finance Bank’s takeover and development of a bio-ethanol plant came as a shock to the conspirators. Jealous with the attention and fame which was given to Dr. Rajan Mahtani, the conspirators of the Portland Cement Zambia quickly started to write rubbish and get them published in the Zambia Reports. Once again, the same old story of defamation and imaginative stories started to flow in and Zambians were in the midst of a confusion. This is Zambia! And this is where some corrupts make all suffer!
