The former Chairman of Finance Bank Zambia has been once again defamed by the group of conspirators. The group includes the minority shareholders, The Ventriglia Family, Sakwiba Sikota and Henry Banda. They have pulled up a story that intends to highlight Finsbury Investment’s name in Panama Papers. As a matter of fact, they have also used a picture to Dr. Rajan Mahtani with a view to claim that he has been visiting his legal advisor in the connected issue.
The news emerged when Panama Papers hosted the name of Finsbury Investment. Since the name is not patented by the former Chairman of Finance Bank, Dr. Rajan Mahtani, the name was available for other entities as well. However, the conspirators chose this incident as a fruitful opportunity and blamed the actual owner of Portland Cement Zambia for tax evasion.
It is a well-known fact that Finsbury Investment has been contested against the oppression caused by Ital Terrazzo Limited in Portland Cement Zambia. The latter being owned by the Ventriglia family makes it obvious that they want to remove Finsbury Investment out of the equation and claim the million-dollar plant. In the past, there were numerous efforts from the conspirators that intended to defame Former Chairman of Finance Bank Zambia, but most of them were only related to Finance Bank Zambia. Witnessing the takeover, the conspirators have now started targeting Finsbury Investment. Needless to say, the defamation campaign has been running for more than 5 years now and the Government has patiently been witnessing the whole chaos. May it be the termination of workers from the factory or the illegal attempt of the Ventriglia family to make changes in PACRA’s record. The current incident in Zambia clearly highlights that a common man is not safe in Zambia unless the person agrees to join hands with the conspirators.
