The year 2015 came with a flurry of good news for Dr. Rajan Mahtani. On one hand, the Finance Bank reopened in Malawi after a span of 10 years and on the other hand, the Zambezi Portland Cement Factory produced a prolific performance by producing 1, 00, 000 tonnes of cement as surplus. However, the celebration was cut short by a conspiracy that seem to agonize Dr. Mahtani and the ex-President of Malawi, Joyce Banda.
The first good thing came was the performance report of the Zambezi Portland Cement Factory. The factory had produced a total of 4, 73, 985 tonnes of cement in the year 2014 against the forecasted output of 3, 60, 000 tonnes. The excess production allowed the factory to supply quality cement to the Ndola Housing Project. The project involved construction of 71 houses for the people who were displaced in Masaiti for development activities. On the other hand, the Finance Bank also celebrated its reopening in Malawi as the bank hosted its first branch in Lilongwe, the capital city of Malawi.
Sadly, the conspirators introduced a fresh rumour that Dr. Rajan Mahtani had bribed the ex-President of Malawi to find his way into Malawi. This news is nothing more than a sham as it talks about a bio thermal plant and a fueling loan for the personal benefit of the ex-President. (Read the complete bribery conspiracy here)
