The result of this merger is that Zambia will now have one of its largest banks.
Many a time, this merger was questioned. Implications were made with a view to disrupt the harmony and fake publications were made so that the mass could be easily misled. Certainly the good has won over the bad and people can now see the power of honesty. The result of this merger is that the accumulated assets of BancABC and FBZ is now around USD 567 million along with a massive network of 65 branches and 176 ATMs.
In the years to come, this merger will go from strength to strength. Moreover, Zambia will now have a dependable resource from where regular financing can take place. Dr. Rajan Mahtani has once again proved that Zambia is a land of opportunity and people need to be together in order to bring a positive change.
